The El Ray agency is a literary agency which was founded in 2006 in Haifa, Israel.
Haifa, a city built on the slopes of the Mount Carmel, nestled in the south eastern corner of the Mediterranean Sea. It is a bustling multicultural city, which has become a symbol of co-existence in the Middle East, where Jews and Arabs live side by side, is a most fitting home for this agency.

Israel, a country of immigrants from all around the world, is an effervescent meeting place of diverse cultures. This essentially western country located in the heart of the Moslem Arab world, bestows it importance of the highest degree as a cultural and literary laboratory for the shaping of interesting currents of spiritual creation.

The El Ray Agency aims to present to the wider world the works of authors that aspire to give expression to this marvelous diversity of cultures and viewpoints of this region, and not to encourage only one aspect of Israeli literary work.

Thus, the El Ray Agency took it upon itself to present to the outside world the creative and talented authors, men and women, Jews, Arabs and others (including Nobel Prize nominees) that enrich Israeli cultural life and are most able to contribute greatly to the multicultural spirit that is blowing throughout the world today.

The El Ray Agency has recently established a publishing house.
